KEY POINTS:
- This is a hunter/developer/closer sales position where the emphasis is on
developing new and
profitable revenue streams using your market awareness, generated and
self-generated leads
- Translating your passion to understand the customer's business into impressive
sales results
- Define specific target industries and customers and the approach to cultivate
them
- Determine the sales resources and strategies required to meet business objectives
- Implement sales programs and support tools
QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Education:
- A post secondary degree or community college
diploma focused on sales, marketing, and commerce is preferred.
- Graduation in an accredited program within the international freight
forwarding
industry such as CIFFA would be an asset.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of Sales experience in customs brokerage and international freight forwarding,
ocean exports/air exports plus imports in a progressive environment using
solution-based selling approaches.
Skills:
- Strong new business development and account maintenance and retention skills
- Bilingual communication skills: good listening, oral and written language
abilities.
- Must be computer literate with a strong background in the use of
personal computers for sales presentations and sales contacts management.

- Experienced, professional and resourceful sales style/strong team-player with
an entrepreneurial,
developer's attitude
