Leading customs brokerage firm located in the airport area with extensive resources in the field of Customs Consulting
has created a new opportunity for a Customs Tariff Analyst to assist Sr. Customs Consulting advisors in various
client projects. This is an excellent opportunity to move into the Consulting area with lots of room for growth.




- Providing technical support in the areas of research, preparation of a variety of customs related written correspondence
  and forms and project completion

- Analyzing and interpreting information received from internal or external clients/sources and obtaining related documentation

- Classifying of new products under the Harmonized System (HS)

- Analyzing existing client tariff databases and making appropriate recommendations

- Prioritizing and completion of work according to project demands as well as participating with other team members in the
  day to day operation of the team

- Other areas of involvement will include management of projects relating to NAFTA (including certification of new products
  under their specific rules of origin)

- Blanket B2 adjustments, requests for National Customs Rulings, customs compliance and systems reviews.




Post Secondary Education or equivalent.

A minimum of 3 years experience in a Customs consulting/advisory environment or from a classification/rating/releasing
background in customs brokerage.

Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Excellent knowledge of Harmonized System, NAFTA and other Customs regulations.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Strong time management skills.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Access).

Ability to meet tight deadlines and to exercise good judgement.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
