A very well-established international freight forwarder
that has an excellent reputation in the industry is seeking
a well-qualified Air Imports Coordinator as the result of growth, for the
Airport area. If you like a busy working
environment and working with a dedicated group of like-minded professionals,
they would like to speak with you.
You bring a minimum of 1-3 years + of Freight Forwarding experience in Air Imports
and ideally some Air Exports
and you are accustomed to handling a strong volume of shipments. You have
excellent English, both written and
verbal and have a team-player's attitude.

- Along with very good written and verbal communications skills, the
candidate must have knowledge and experience in:
- Customer service.
- Receive pre-alerts of shipments
- Set up customer files from scratch
- Work with the CBSA and CFIA inspection departments.
- Rate shipments and process invoicing to clients
- Prepare and send out arrival notices and invoices promptly.
- Arrange for 3rd party brokers to customs clear cargo
- Co-ordinate door deliveries with the broker, terminals and carriers.
- Approve supplier invoices.
- Providing proactive client service and handling client inquiries

1-3 years plus of Air Imports/Exports experience in International
Freight Forwarding in the GTA
- Experienced in interacting with CBSA and other government departments in
following up
Customer issues regarding de-consolidations
- Practical knowledge of procedures and processes, freight software; MS Office
applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment; multi-tasking, organizing
and problem-solving
