This position of national responsibility with a well-established customs broker will appeal to the entrepreneurially minded industry professional with extensive experience in developing NRI customers in key markets. You are results-oriented and have a minimum of 5 years customs brokerage sales experience of both Canadian and US Customs Brokerage.

You are a self starter, and possess excellent business client/development skills. You would describe yourself as a seasoned hunter/closer with excellent credibility on both sides of the border.

You are a high energy individual and are organized, motivated, and efficient.




- Full responsibility for development of the NRI Program for major US-based customers

- Develop a strategic business development plan based on knowledge of the market,
  experience selling to US-based customers and awareness of competitor strengths and
  weaknesses

- Develop specialized services based on the identified needs of potential corporate customers

- Identify target vertical markets and develop new business within these sectors

- Determine customer needs and satisfaction and how the company can develop services
  to best meet these needs

- Achieve increased market penetration with US exporters to allow them to sell on a
  delivered-price basis to the Canadian customer




- A minimum of 5 years of selling NRI (Non-Resident Importer) services in Customs Brokerage

- Strong knowledge of marketing and a strategic sense of the realities of a changed marketplace

- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

- Knowledge of cross-border trade derived from extensive market experience

- Logistics training and experience is a plus
