Our Client offers an extensive variety of logistical/transportation services that include air, ocean and ground;
manufacturing  support; freight forwarding; customs brokerage; contract logistics and a host of other services.
In addition, customers can utilize enhanced transportation and supply chain planning and optimization tools.



Primary duty is to process routine to moderately complex ocean export transactions, including all related activities,
for an assigned base of accounts. Perform duties related to document preparation and traffic coordination required to
process export shipments in a cost-efficient manner within Company standards.

- Provide excellent Ocean Export services to Customers
- Experience in handling FCL and LCL
- Ciffa Graduate preferred
- Knowledge of L/Cs and breakbulk cargo preferred
- Self-motivated with strong communications skills
- 3 to 5 years experience

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Receive, review, and process export documentation for an assigned base of accounts.
- Comply with all requirements listed under any given Letter of Credit.
- Prepare accurate and profitable CIF quotations for review by Team Leader or Manager.
- Recognize profit opportunities in the areas of insurance coverage, commissions, cargo for NVOCC booking, commissions from
  inland freight and other   service subcontracting.
- Arrange inland freight services.
- Reply to overseas inquiries in a clear, concise and timely manner. Maintain clear verbal and written communication with clients.
- Provide excellent and timely customer service by informing clients of the status of their shipments under the direct supervision
  and advice of the Air/Ocean Export Manager.
- Advise Supervisor of any problems or irregularities discovered within assigned transactions.

- Advise Supervisor or Manager of any transaction problems or irregularities.
- Actively pursue a better understanding of export logistics process through self -study, as well as courses and seminars presented by
  the Company and other approved sources.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines, such as the Code of Conduct, assigned work schedules, and attendance requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.



- Written communication skill to compose routine letters and to edit and proof business correspondence and reports.
- Use the Company-standard software for word processing and spreadsheets, etc., as applicable, to generate more
  elaborate reports, charts, and graphs.
- Three years experience in all activities related to logistics and freight forwarding services, including arranging
  transport and delivery of shipments, and other related functions.
- The ability to analyze necessary moderately complex administrative details. - These would include organizing and
  preparing documents, and assembling documents or reports containing data from several sources.
- Effective verbal communication skills and past customer service experience is required, since work requires extensive
  phone contact with carriers and other parties concerning the ocean export process.

Education/Experience

- Completion of a high school education, plus two years of related higher education or international transportation industry experience.
- A minimum of two years international transportation industry experience preferred, or a minimum of two years of college courses
  in supply chain logistics, international transportation, or a related field of study.
