Title:  Office Administrator - Local Cartage - Mississauga, ON
 
Established and growing local cartage firm in Mississauga seeks an Office Administrator to handle billing and driver administration duties. Our client wants someone to run the office and keep all related paperwork organized and up to date. This is a hands-on, manual environment.
 
Responsibilities: 
 
Coordinating, Preparing & Maintaining Daily:
 
-        Customer Billing through Quickbooks
-        Driver related reports, invoicing & reconciliation through Excel & Quickbooks
-        Dispatch support
-        Documents for Pickups & Deliveries           
-        Email files
-        Operation files
 
Creating, Tracking & Matching Operation Pro bills:
 
-         AWB’s
-         Delivery Waybills
-         Delivery Instructions
-         Pre Advices & Releases
-         Rating as per Dispatch Manager’s direction
 
Maintaining Accounts Receivable:
 
-        Collections
-        Posting invoices & receipts
-        Filing System       
 
Maintaining Accounts Payable:
 
-         Posting invoices & payments
-         Filing System
 
Prepare Monthly – Training provided:
 
-        Bank Reconciliations  
-        Accounts Receivable & Payable Reconciliations
 
Qualifications:
 
- 5 years in a local cartage/trucking firm in billing/rates/operations
- Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail
- Experienced with Excel spreadsheets
- Excellent communications skills
- Accustomed to working in a manual/computer environment
- Knowledge/experience with manual dispatch is an asset
 
Compensation: Salary and bonus based on company profits.
