Our client is a strong company in Customs and Freight with tremendous resources and an excellent industry
reputation. They are looking for a person with several years of customs brokerage and freight experience,
selling these services presently in the Vancouver and lower mainland regions. You have experience
with Pacific Rim and European Imports/Exports and are very effective in developing new business.


You will be responsible for increasing revenue, clients, and new business
opportunities in all service offerings within your designated territory with a focus on new accounts. 

Duties include: 

- Setting and obtaining sales goals and annual revenue quotas
- Managing designated sales territory by actively prospecting for new sales leads,
  securing new accounts, following up until revenue is coming in and account has been properly established
- Using proper pricing structure and schedules; interacting with all  business units to satisfy existing
  customer or  potential customer needs and assisting in resolving customer issues that are brought
  to your attention
- Establishing network relationships within the industry with the goal to drive new revenue opportunities
  attend and participate in sales meetings; travel as required. 




- Must be goal oriented and results driven
- Possess outstanding communication (both written and oral) and customer service skills
- Well organized, self motivated and self starter
- Strong negotiation abilities and proven sales record. 

Minimum 2 to 3 years sales experience with a post secondary degree or diploma in a related field.  
previous experience in the international freight forwarding sector in Vancouver is essential.
